An all-around perfect place for me: a few minutes on foot to train, bus, cable car, and the pedestrian zone. And whatever was missing, Ute brought right away. Even half a litre of milk on a Sunday evening. I'll definitely be back.

How guests rate it
Cleanliness 4.9 · Accuracy 4.9. Across 214 reviews, cleanliness was praised 65 times and criticised not once.
Three voices from Hannes.
Right below the ski jumps, the place is great for day trips and ski-jumping events. Tall people (I'm 1.95 m) need to watch out a little for the sloping ceilings, but even with a mobility issue it was no obstacle for me.
Lovely small apartment, well located, everything very straightforward. Perfect for hiking, and the Nebelhorn cable car really is just around the corner. The fold-away wall bed is remarkably comfortable, by the way! I would happily come back.
Great internet for working remotely, and everything around is within walking distance. The Allgäu-Walser pass is incredibly handy for public transport and the cable cars. I'll happily come back.

What Hannes is
The apartment
A compact solo apartment on the second floor. Murphy bed that disappears into the wall during the day. Built-in wardrobe, private bathroom with WC. A narrow kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, toaster and fridge — there is no stove or oven. Plus a folding table right at the window with a mountain view. Parking space in front of the house. Modern and welcoming, as the listing says.
Two window seats
For all its compact format, what sets Hannes apart are the window seats. The folding table in the kitchenette, looking out at the Allgäu wooden houses and the mountains behind — breakfast and dinner at the glass front. And the corduroy armchair in the living area, opposite the window niche with its seating. Both places to sit during the day — and watch what happens outside through the window.
Who belongs here
Who this apartment is made for
Solo travellers who come to Oberstdorf not for the apartment — but for the mountains. Those who hike, run, ski during the day, and need a quiet retreat in the evening. Those who explore the village on foot — village centre and cable car are close; the cable car is about 360 m / 5–8 minutes away. The summer cable car ticket comes with the booking. With the Allgäu-Walser Card you get discounted access to many facilities in the region.
